Jeff Wellens, Founder

At Centre Pointe Consulting Group, I bring  40 years of leadership experience spanning Fortune 500 enterprises and growth-stage companies. Over two decades in publicly traded organizations—including leadership roles with Taylor Communications, Harte-Hanks, NCR Corporation, GE Capital, and Humana—I developed deep expertise in financial strategy, operational transformation, and leading complex business organizations.

For the past 17 years, I’ve focused on advising small-to-mid-sized businesses through Centre Pointe Consulting Group (CPC-Grp), the advisory firm I founded to help entrepreneurial companies scale with financial discipline and operational excellence. I partner with founders and leadership teams of organizations typically ranging from $3M to $200M in revenue, helping them strengthen financial infrastructure, improve operational performance, and execute growth initiatives that build long-term enterprise value.

My experience spans industries including healthcare, marketing services, technology, supply chain, and financial services, allowing me to quickly understand complex business environments and translate strategy into practical execution.

Throughout my career, I’ve been known for bridging finance, operations, and strategic leadership to help organizations navigate growth, transformation, and operational challenges. Through my advisory work, I’ve helped companies generate more than $100 million in shareholder value while building stronger and more scalable businesses. 

Beyond my professional work, I’m committed to supporting our local community through board service and mentorship with organizations such as Adopt A Class Foundation and Crayons to Classrooms, where I’ve spent many years helping connect business leaders with opportunities to support youth and education.
